Workshops The following is a list of arts workshops on the Kenai Peninsula. Arts Express - children's and young adult art classes with Stephanie Cox. Grants for Artists Workshop Kenai River Council of the Arts is holding a “Grants for Artists Workshop,” presented by Victoria Lord, representing the Rasmuson Foundation. The workshop will run from 9AM to 4PM on Saturday, January 21, 2006 at Kenai Peninsula College. This is an exciting opportunity for all artists whether a performer, writer, visual artist, musician, whatever, this workshop’s for you. You’ll find out what grants are available to you or your organization and how they can be most successfully applied for. Two Saturday morning sessions will be offered: 9:30-11 Grants for the Individual Artist 11:30-12 Grants for Arts Organizations Starting at 1:00, Ms Lord will be available for pre-arranged appointments with individual artists to discuss their ideas and grants available. Space will be limited and a $10 fee (scholarships available) will be charged so contact Connie Tarbox (262-7767) to make your reservation for the workshop.
